Why not PostHog, Sentry and UptimeRobot?
They're great at one thing for one app. BugOtter is for when you have twelve apps and want one list that tells you which one needs you, with revenue next to uptime and errors.
Will it slow my site down?
The script is small and loads after your page. If error tracking ever fails, your analytics and your site keep working.
What do I need to install?
Nothing for uptime: paste a URL and it's watched from three regions, with SSL, domain checks and a status page. For traffic and browser errors, add one script tag or paste one prompt into your coding agent. Your agent can also set up server errors for you.
Already using Sentry?
Keep your code. Point its DSN at BugOtter and server errors arrive with readable stack traces, next to your traffic, deploys and revenue. No new SDK to learn.
Is my data safe?
Payment keys are read-only, so BugOtter can't charge, refund or change anything. Analytics has no cookies and stores no names, emails or IP addresses. Text captured from your app is marked as untrusted before an agent reads it. You can delete everything, any time, in one click.
What does my agent see?
Only the apps you allow, read-only by default. We strip personal data and secrets before anything reaches it.
Is there a free plan?
No, but every plan starts with 14 days of everything, no card needed. Plans start at $10 a month billed yearly, or $12 monthly, and apps you put to sleep are free on every plan.
What happens after the trial?
